Going back to pomodoro

I could use some extra work discipline so I’m downloading a pomodoro app. Essentially you work for 25 minutes and get a 5 minute break. And then after however many, you take a longer break.

I have about 3 or 4 things I wanted to get down this weekend and didn’t get around to them, but I think I can knock them out tonight in about 5 or 6 pomodoro sessions.

The extra discipline really helps you bust through things. It’s important to make sure there are NO DISTRACTIONS, though, or else you’re never going to get going in that 25 minute session. Once you break your concentration, you might as well take a few minutes and then start over, I find.

It’s a good way of working.

Once I get these things done, I can work on a Youtube video.
